It is modular
As a modular system, the shelving system is constructed entirely from individual parts. It can be individually adapted and redesigned again and again.
Shelves at any height
The shelves are fixed in place by 4 wedges in the corners. This means there are no restrictions on positioning. Simply slide the shelf to the desired height and attach the wedges from below. That's it.
Build as high as you like
The legs are available in three sizes: 65 cm, 85 cm and 115 cm. They can be connected in any combination. The only limitation is the height of your room.
Build as wide as you like
Simply add more legs and shelves - in any direction. One section measures 85 cm. Because of the overlap, the length increases by 77 cm with each additional section.
Turn it in any direction
Add a new panel at any angle by simply rotating it around a common leg. This makes it easy to create a room divider or a bend around a corner.
Navigate across different levels
Be it going up stairs or simply on uneven ground, each leg can be adjusted in height independently so that you can easily handle uneven surfaces.
Materials and surfaces
Select the surface
• oiled oak
• Black stained oak
• smoked oak
All legs and metal parts are available in Black, White, Deep Blue, Warm Grey and Pine Green.
Secure to the wall
When you set up a system on a wall, we always recommend securing it. Each system comes with at least two securing clips that you slide onto a leg and screw directly into the wall behind it.
Planning freestanding
If you are building a freestanding system that is higher than 85 cm, we recommend either building a back-to-back system or adding a 90-degree angle after every third bay.
For the clothes
With the clothes rail you can easily transform your shelving system into a wardrobe, perfect for the bedroom or hallway. The clothes rail is simply clamped to the edge of the shelf.
As a desk
With the desk top you can combine storage and display space with a small office space. The desk is simply replaced by one of the shelves and can therefore be placed at any height.
To close
The cabinet can be placed at any height within the system and still be combined with shelves on the left and right. An inner shelf for the cabinet is available as an additional part.
FAQ & Care for the MOEBE Shelving System
There are three depths of shelves. "Magazine shelves" which are 7.5 cm deep, "half depth shelves" which are 17.5 cm deep and the standard shelves which are 35 cm deep.
Neither. All shelf parts are held in place solely by wedges – it is absolutely stable.
If possible, the shelf should be secured to the wall. Freestanding shelves can be constructed, but must follow the requirements.
You can easily check whether the shelf and its individual shelves are level by using a spirit level, a water level app or by measuring the distance between the shelves.
We recommend no more than 20 kg per shelf. If you have a back panel under the shelf, it can also hold up to 30 kg.
Direct sunlight changes the color of real wood, even if it is stained or varnished. This is particularly noticeable if the piece of furniture is placed under a window, for example. Oak wood tends to darken in this situation.
