Vase made by 3D printing
The vases in Sheyn's Vint series capture the invisible movement of wind, translating it into sculptural forms. With flowing lines that change their appearance depending on the light and perspective, they almost seem alive.
Each vase is precisely crafted, full of fine details, and plays with rhythm, light, and shadow. An object that surprises anew from every angle – making it more than just a vase: a piece of moving architecture in miniature.
Sheyn. vases from Vienna, with their exciting textures and balanced, interesting shapes, are produced using 3D printing. The vases come with a perfectly fitting, removable glass insert for water. Another plus: the material used, made from corn, is sustainable and recyclable.
The technique used is FDM - an additive manufacturing process in which layers of material are fused together according to a specific pattern, gradually creating an object.
Every single piece from Sheyn. is custom-made. Since 50% recycled PLA is used for 3D printing, no two parts have the exact same color. We believe that this is beautiful – and hope you see it that way too!
