Kintsugi is the traditional Japanese art of assembling broken ceramics using lacquer and gold dust.

Instead of aiming for perfection and hiding the fracture, it is emphasized with the golden seam. Like a scar of idiosyncratic, individual and special beauty.

It's easy and fun to use: glue is mixed with gold dust and spread on the broken edges. Then you firmly join the pieces together and allow the glue to harden - and your favorite pieces made of ceramic, porcelain and the like are ready for the next phase of their life.
