A Drop of Joy
The iconic, award-winning Light Soy™ – designed to stop ocean plastic at the source (in this case: at the sauce).
Light Soy & Light Soy Flex – The Original from Heliograf
Two lights, one iconic soy sauce fish. Light Soy brings warm light and a stand against single-use plastic into your home.
Heliograf turns this little sushi accessory into sustainable design. The lampshade of the Light Soy light is made from 75% certified ocean-bound plastic – and for each light produced, 2 kg of plastic cleanups are also funded.

From To Go to To Stay
You know it: the little soy sauce fish from the sushi set. Cute, but when you look closely, a huge problem – a hardly recyclable, single-use piece of plastic that ends up in huge quantities in landfills and the environment.
Heliograf is an award-winning design project from Sydney by Angus Ware and Jeffrey Simpson. They live on the coast and witness the effects of plastic pollution daily. The oceans, the animals, and ultimately people suffer.
With Light Soy, they deliberately take on the iconic soy sauce fish shape: a symbol of the huge problem of small single-use plastics. The lamp is made from recycled, ocean-bound plastic and actively funds plastic cleanups. Since its inception, over 34 tons of plastic have been removed from particularly affected regions – a drop in the ocean, yet a big impact.
