Vase made by 3D printing
The Vint series vases by Sheyn capture the invisible movement of the wind and translate it into sculptural forms. With flowing lines that change their appearance depending on the light and perspective, they seem almost alive.
Each vase is precisely crafted, full of fine details, and plays with rhythm, light, and shadow. An object that surprises anew from every angle – and is thus more than just a vase: a piece of animated architecture in miniature.
The vases from Sheyn. from Vienna, with their exciting textures and balanced, interesting shapes, are produced using 3D printing. The vases are fitted with a perfectly fitting, removable glass insert into which you can pour water. Another plus: the material used, which is corn-based, is sustainable and recyclable.
The technique used is FDM - an additive manufacturing process in which layers of material are fused together according to a specific pattern to gradually create an object.
Every single piece from Sheyn. is custom-made. Since 50% recycled PLA is used for 3D printing, no two parts have the exact same color. We believe that this is beautiful – and hope you see it that way too!
