Very hot chili sauce with pear
Tears makes no secret of how spicy it is. The Carolina Reapers from Brussels are immediately noticeable and significantly more potent than the Habaneros of the Pears for Tears sister. Added to this is the soft sweetness of regional pears, Belgian red onions, fresh garlic, and organic apple cider vinegar. The mixture remains surprisingly familiar, almost like a greeting from old kitchens, but with significantly more fire. It pairs just as well with raclette, cheese boards, charcuterie, or hearty meat dishes as it does with stoemp. In the kitchen, it ends up in croque monsieurs, sandwiches, rillettes, or vinaigrettes. And those who like to experiment can try it with gin or Cointreau.
