Swivelling wall light with enamelled lampshade

The K830 is a functionally unique lamp from the early 1930s. The freely pivoting arms of the wall lamp allow for completely flexible alignment. The lampshade can also be moved and adjusted freely, so that the light can be placed very precisely. Another special feature is the continuous height adjustment of the lampshade: the power cable slides freely in the tube and is balanced with a counterweight to the lamp head.
The K830 is based on a design by Werner Glasenapp from 1930 and was carefully redeveloped based on a historical model. Particular emphasis was placed on respecting historical manufacturing methods. This Midgard lamp perfectly bridges the gap between tradition and modernity.

Material:
Dome and manual rotary switch: black Bakelite
Canopy: black aluminum, hand-pressed
Light sources:
E27/26 socket (suitable for retrofit LED bulbs E27), (max 40W)
Design:
Werner Glasenapp, 1930
