Gesine Grotrian draws and designs, searches and finds: not only problems and solutions, but also. Gesine lives with her two daughters in Berlin. Under the name tinkerbrain, she brings new books into the world together with Anke M. Leitzgen.
The 10 Rules are Gesine's first screen print edition and were created - based on a text by Susan Sontag - for her own parenting and dear friends. 10 rules , one for each finger, to be at peace with yourself in everyday life and (thereby) to do justice to your children.
We have implemented 10 rules as a single-color screen print on Favini Shiro Alga Carta 250g, a natural white paper with many fine wefts that is made partly from algae. The size of the print is 35 × 50 cm (13.8 × 19.7"). The edition is limited to 100 pieces and is numbered and signed by Gesine. It was printed in our own playground print shop .
We send the prints unframed in a sturdy poster tube. Framing is also possible. Just talk to us!
