Vase made by 3D printing
The vases from Sheyn's Vint series capture the invisible movement of the wind, translating it into sculptural forms. With flowing lines that change their appearance depending on the light and perspective, they seem almost alive.
Each vase is precisely crafted, full of fine details, and plays with rhythm, light, and shadow. An object that surprises anew from every angle – making it more than just a vase: a piece of animated architecture in miniature.
Sheyn. vases from Vienna, with their exciting textures and balanced, interesting forms, are made using 3D printing. The vases are fitted with a precisely fitting, removable glass insert into which you can pour water. Another plus: the material used, based on corn, is sustainable and recyclable.
The technique used is FDM – an additive manufacturing process in which layers of material are fused together in a specific pattern to gradually create an object.
Each individual piece from Sheyn. is custom-made. Since 50% recycled PLA is used for 3D printing, no two pieces have the exact same color. We think that's beautiful – and hope you see it that way too!
