Wild Rocket is an alternative to the usual arugula and has a distinctive wasabi flavor. It is a perennial variety with deep green, serrated foliage that makes an attractive addition to any mesclun-style dish or salad. The young leaves can be picked one at a time. Although our Wildfire arugula has never actually met a wasabi, it still conjures up a portion of horseradish spiciness on the plate - the "wow factor" on the tongue. They may look harmless, but a nice surprise for the palate lies hidden inside!
