Is it a mirror, or actually more of a picture on the wall? Decide for yourself. One thing is certain: Francis is the result of experiments with pigments. The result resembles a blurred blob of watercolor and at the same time is reminiscent of an antique mirror with a lot of patina and discoloration. The back is slightly convex and has a cord so that Francis leans forwards away from the wall, like an old Venetian mirror. The colored side can be placed as desired when hanging.
